Miles "Tails" Prower is a mobian fox with two tails and the best friend of Sonic the Hedgehog. Tails is a very skilled mechanic, often rivalling that of Professor Elvin Gadd, Charles the Hedgehog, both of whom he later works with, Doctor Eggman and Doc. During the series, Tails becomes romantically involved with Mina Mongoose, a Mobian that lives in Knothole Village, which was merged with Land's End in the Mushroom Kingdom.

Mecha Sonic Saga and Pre-Marx Saga[]
Tails is the very first of Sonic's friends who was targetted by Mecha Sonic, but he was luckily saved by Lilac, who, with Tails' help, found and saved Sonic's other friends from the merciless machine. He was pulled into Mario's world and appeared in the Beanbean Kingdom thanks to Marx's interference with Mecha Sonic's interdimensional Chaos Control.

Magolor Saga[]
During the Magolor Saga, Tails began working with E.Gadd and they rebuilt Tails' Tornado and upgraded Mario's Sky Pop, which Team Mario use to travel to the Beanbean Kingdom in search of one of the Wands of Power.
Bowser Saga[]
Tails and E.Gadd, with the help of the Meta-Knights and Uncle Chuck, constructed a successor to the Halberd, the Super Halberd, which the heroes used to persue the Death Egg and hunt for the Chaos Emeralds. Tails tried talking E.Gadd and Chuck into remaining behind in the Mushroom Kingdom, but they both insisted they come, with E.Gadd wanting to research stars and galaxies, while Chuck wanted to help out in any way he could.
Trivia[]
- During the Fawful Saga, Tails adopts his Sonic BOOM appearance, which he retains for the rest of the series. No other character does this.
